Cal Poly San Luis Obispo juniors Miranda Daschian and Katie Izzo placed 18th and 22nd at the NCAA Division 1 West Regionals at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento, Calif. Daschian covered the 6-kilometer course in 20:10.3 and Izzo ran 20:14.5 for the Mustangs, both qualifying individually to compete Nov. 17 at the NCAA Division 1 Championships in Madison, Wisc. Daschian and Izzo, the Mustangs' first NCAA qualifiers since Peyton Bilo in 2016, helped Cal Poly place eighth overall with 232 points.
